It is a noisy political neighbourhood in Andhra Pradesh. A day after YS Jaganmohan Reddy taunted Pawan Kalyan about his three marriages, the Jana Sena chief hit back, asking the chief minister what was wrong if he had three marriages.
“He keeps saying three marriages, three marriages. Who is stopping you? You also marry three times. What is your issue with it?” retorted Pawan.
Not stopping at that, Pawan decided to taunt Jagan about his 16-month-long stay inside Hyderabad central prison in 2012-13 when he was arrested in connection with the Disproportionate Assets cases.
“Was it because of these marriages of mine that Jagan Reddy had to go to jail for nearly two years? I had to do it because of my earlier marriages did not work well. Was it because of my multiple marriages that Jagan formed suitcase companies to amass illegal assets?” asked Jagan.
On National Education Day, while criticising Pawan, Chandrababu Naidu and Venkaiah Naidu for their critical stand on introduction of English medium schools in Andhra Pradesh, Jagan had asked Pawan if his 4-5 children from his three marriages go to a Telugu medium or an English medium school.
Pawan ended with a sarcastic suggestion to the chief minister. He asked him to tell the priests at the Tirumala temple to read the Suprabhatam in English.
