As Jagan govt serves demolition notice on Naidu home, will the ex-CM blink first?

Will he, won’t he? Whether Chandrababu Naidu will blink first and vacate his house at Undavalli is the question being asked in Amaravati. The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has found the reply given by Naidu’s landlord Lingamaneni Ramesh unsatisfactory and has asked the owner to remove the structure within a week.

“The APCRDA shall proceed with the demolition if the owner does not comply with the order,” the order said. A copy has been sent to Naidu as well, “for information and necessary action to vacate the premises.”

Naidu lives at this rented residence by the river Krishna

In June, the APCRDA had demolished the Praja Vedika, that had been constructed during the Naidu regime next door and on 27 June, it issued a preliminary show cause notice on Lingamaneni Ramesh. During the floods in Andhra Pradesh, drones were used by the YSRCP government to tell the world that its allegations of the house being constructed  violating environmental laws were not unfounded as with the levels in the Krishna rising, water was entering the Naidu residence. It had led to a war of words between the TDP and the YSRCP.

The APCRDA that found nothing wrong in the Naidu residence during the time the TDP was in power, is now tasked with getting it demolished.
