Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa finally has a council of ministers, more than three weeks since he was sworn in on 26 July. His solo act all through the flood-hit period when the political administrative leadership was seen to be missing on the ground, was criticised and even lampooned by his political opponents.
Many BJP heavyweights have found space in the cabinet and several of them have administrative experience in the previous BJP government.
