For the Telugu film fan, there cannot be a bigger combo than this. Younger brother Pawan Kalyan has given the voiceover for the teaser of Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. This is the story of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, an unsung hero who revolted against the British in 1846.
The teaser will release on 20 August, two days before Chiranjeevi’s birthday. Earlier this week, the making video of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy was released. The movie is Chiranjeevi’s home production with son Ram Charan the producer.
Director Surender Reddy tweeted : “Very thankful to Pawan Kalyan garu for lending his voice to our teaser. It’s a creative call, no better person can narrate a story of an unsung hero than a people’s man.”
Pawan who has turned a politician, has so far not shown any inclination to tinsel town after the drubbing his party, the Jana Sena got in the elections in Andhra Pradesh. It won just one assembly seat and Pawan lost from both Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram constituencies. In contrast, Chiranjeevi who had entered politics with Praja Rajyam in 2008 returned to cinema with Khaidi no. 150 in 2017. He has kept away from politics ever since his term in the Rajya Sabha got over.
The last time the brothers were seen together was when Pawan campaigned for Chiranjeevi’s PRP in the 2009 elections. The fans of both stars will hope this jugalbandi sets the box office on fire when the movie releases on Gandhi Jayanti.
