[Video] Secunderabad’s Cafe Ramser is now history

Cafe Ramser, an iconic landmark in Secunderabad has passed into history. It marked its farewell on 30 June by giving its most tasty chai for free, just like it had done when it opened in 1962.

Located on the main East Marredpally road, Ramser cafe is a traffic landmark. But Ramser was not just about the chai. It was a favorite haunt for students and office goers, an adda of sorts to have a chat and bond over tea and biscuits.

Filter Kaapi in this video brings you some of those memories. Some of them are great stories, laced with lots of nostalgia and fondness.

If you like the video, do share with your friends, both living now in Marredpally and those who have moved away and subscribe to the Filter Kaapi YouTube channel.

  1. End of an era. Sad that such a popular Irani joint is closing down. People who have been visiting this place for years will miss it for sure.
