That Ram Gopal Varma has a score to settle with Chandrababu Naidu is well-known. After all, the previous Telugu Desam regime ensured his `Lakshmi’s NTR’ did not get a release in Andhra Pradesh. The film focused on the palace coup of 1995 in which Naidu overthrew his father-in-law and chief minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and obviously would have been embarrassing for the TDP supremo ahead of the 11 April elections.
With Naidu out of Sarkar now, Varma is unleashing RGV ke Sholay at him.
He started by calling Jagan’s swearing-in ceremony day as the backstabber’s political death day. He followed it by making an appeal to popular Telugu star NTR Junior, the grandson of NTR from his third son, Nandamuri Harikrishna to take over the TDP. NTR Junior is also referred to as Tarak, his middle name.
If that was not enough, Varma conducted a Twitter poll in which he got 41911 votes, with 79 per cent voting in favour of NTR taking over the TDP.
Filter Kaapi fears Ram Gopal Varma will next make a movie called `Election Commission’ !
