A treat for Mahesh Babu fans as he presented the video song preview of `Everest Anchuna’ from his forthcoming movie `Maharshi’. The film is set to music by Devi Sri Prasad and the reactions to the song on social media were mixed, with many raving about it and many others finding it repetitive. Pooja Hegde is paired opposite Mahesh in `Maharshi’ while Allari Naresh is in a prominent role.

Three big producers in the Telugu space – Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and Prasad Potluri – have come together to bankroll `Maharshi’, estimated to have cost Rs 85 crore. The film directed Vamsi Paidipally will release on 9 May. 

On the basis of the posters released so far, `Maharshi’ is pitched as a story of friendship. `Join the journey of Rishi’ and the look of the film has also left the audience curious about whether it is the story of discovering oneself through a road trip. A bit in the `Zindagi na milegi dobara’ genre.
