Karnataka Housing minister MTB Nagaraj decided to bring the house down by showing some stellar dance moves during the election campaign in Hoskote. Nagaraj danced to the popular tune from the Hindi movie `Nagin’ and the accompanying Congress activists had a ball, matching him step by step, move by move.
Incidentally, the name Nagaraj means King Cobra. He was canvassing for Congress candidate Veerappa Moily who is the candidate from Chikkaballapura Lok Sabha constituency. With Nagaraj setting the stage on fire, Moily would hope he can take Chikkaballapura by storm as well.
The 67-year-old Nagaraj was ranked the richest legislator in the country by the Association for Democratic Reforms with his assets valued at over Rs 1000 crore.
Karnataka votes in two phases on 18 and 23 April.
